The changelog records product-facing outcomes that are public, verified, and useful to follow over time.
What Belongs in the Changelog
Use the changelog for package releases, docs launches, shipped features, public roadmap changes, important fixes, and meaningful historical milestones.
Implementation-only details can stay in GitHub PRs or releases unless they matter to users.
How To Read Entries
Each entry should explain what changed, why it matters, and what evidence or follow-up is relevant. Titles use Title Case and short subject-verb-object wording so the archive stays easy to scan.
